At Inovision, most of our products are digital, but we want you to know exactly what to expect with every purchase — whether it's a personalised track, downloadable content, or physical merchandise.

Safeguarding Officer: Valentine Olukoga (Until replaced or supported by Bashia)
Location: Primarily online; face-to-face sessions at The Polish Centre and occasionally our home address for 18+ sessions

1. Our Commitment

Inovision is built on compassion, community, creativity, and zero judgement.
We are committed to providing a safe, supportive space for all participants — especially young people and vulnerable adults — in both online and offline environments.

We aim to empower, uplift, and creatively guide, while being aware of and responsive to any safeguarding concerns that may arise.

2. Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to:

  • All Inovision team members delivering or supporting mentoring, workshops, or personalised sessions

  • All clients, students, and attendees of our services (including under 18s and adults at risk)

  • Anyone working with or on behalf of Inovision

3. Environments Covered
  • Online mentoring sessions (Zoom/other platforms)

  • In-person workshops at verified venues (e.g. The Polish Centre)

  • Private sessions for 18+ that may occur at the team’s home address

All in-person sessions follow venue-specific safeguarding protocols where applicable.

4. Safeguarding Responsibilities
  • All staff and volunteers must have a current enhanced DBS certificate.

  • Team members will regularly update safeguarding training, including via trusted platforms such as Synergy.

  • Any concerns regarding harm, abuse, or risk will be taken seriously and dealt with in accordance with safeguarding procedures.

We are not therapists, but we can offer emotional support, a listening ear, and refer to professional services or helplines where appropriate (e.g. Childline, Samaritans, NSPCC).

5. Reporting Concerns
  • If you’re worried about a participant’s safety or wellbeing: Speak to Valentine Olukoga (Safeguarding Lead) Email: team@weareinovision.com

  • All concerns are treated with confidentiality, unless someone is at risk of harm

  • We follow a no delay approach — if something doesn’t feel right, we take action.

6. Online Safety

For Zoom and digital mentoring sessions:

  • Sessions will never be recorded without consent

  • Participants under 18 should ideally have parental consent

  • We will create safe digital spaces by moderating communication and setting clear boundaries

7. Working with Young People
  • We always treat young people with respect, dignity, and fairness

  • We do not tolerate bullying, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour of any kind

  • We aim to build trust and encourage growth in a safe, creative environment

8. Review

This policy will be reviewed and updated at least annually or as our services expand.
