The Artist
Basia Bozzao is a London-based artist and seasoned performer whose music is rooted in the rich traditions of soul, R&B, and pop from the '70s, '80s, and '90s. Drawing inspiration from icons like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Earth, Wind & Fire, her sound is powerful, emotive, and vocally layered—showcasing over 15 years of performance and recording experience.
She has lit up major stages including the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Greenbelt and Sundown Festival, and has performed at countless weddings, corporate events, and live showcases.
Basia is an accomplished session vocalist. Her voice has featured on original recordings for the Korean and Japanese markets, and her song Heaven Help Me was translated and released in China. In 2024, she joined BRIT Award-winner RAYE on tour, contributing backing vocals on stage and in the studio—including on RAYE’s acclaimed single Genesis and the live album My 21st Century Blues (Live at the Royal Albert Hall).
Basia’s commitment to live performance and artist development also led to the creation of A Night with Us, a music event series co-founded with Vxlentine in October 2024. The night was born from a shared desire to build performance opportunities for emerging talent and create honest, emotionally charged musical experiences for audiences.
​She is also a contributing artist for Songfinch, creating personalised songs for special moments and loved ones, blending storytelling and soul with each performance.
Her passion for live music and the growing desire to create more opportunities for performance led her and fellow artist Vxlentine to co-found A Night with Us, a live music series launched in October 2024. The event quickly became a vibrant space for rising talent and emotionally honest performances, reflecting Basia’s love for connection through music.
One of over 60 custom songs Basia has created for Songfinch, Apple Of My Eye is a heartfelt track from a woman to her husband, expressing deep love and appreciation through Basia’s warm, soulful delivery.

Vocal Coach And Youth Facilitator
Alongside her work as an artist, Basia Bozzao is a dedicated vocal coach, session vocalist, and youth facilitator with over 15 years of experience in music and performance. Her deep understanding of technique, tone, and emotional expression makes her a trusted mentor to aspiring singers of all ages and levels.
Since 2020, Basia has also facilitated music and drama workshops for young people, using creative practice as a tool for confidence building and self-expression. She serves as an assistant drama facilitator and has led sessions in schools, community spaces, and youth programs across London. Through her creative organisation Inovision, she currently works as one of the lead vocal instructors for the Lewisham Vocal Collective, a South London-based youth choir known for its dynamic sound and inclusive ethos.
Whether she's performing, teaching, or supporting others behind the scenes, Basia brings clarity, soul, and unwavering passion to every space she steps into.
